I am the Senior Vice President for Global Communications, Marketing, and Strategic Initiatives for the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA).

 

Most recently, I was the Vice President of External Relations and Strategic Initiatives for the Women's Transportation Seminar International (WTS). With over 9,000 members in the U.S. and Canada, WTS International attracts, sustains, connects, and advances women in their careers, strengthening all modes of the transportation industry. In this role, I worked to define, develop, and implement strategic initiatives and new relationships that delivered benefits for members, partners, students, and stakeholders, and that fulfilled the WTS vision of equity and access in the transportation sector. I directed media, business relations and strategy, brand elevation, and industry partnerships across the transportation sector. I oversaw external and executive communications and speechwriting, represented WTS at industry conferences on the topics of gender equity and workforce development, and assisted with legislative communications and relationship building on Capitol Hill. Additionally, I  served as a staff liaison to the WTS Foundation (501c3), collaborating with Foundation leadership on annual giving, educational programming,  and scholarship fundraising.

From 2017 to 2022, I was the Vice President of Membership & Marketing for the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), the nation’s largest organization dedicated to advancing the research, development, and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). In this role, I directed the primary line of revenue for ITSA, managed a team of internal and external communications and business operations professionals; led new initiative, program, and event marketing; and represented ITSA at global conferences on the topics of innovative transportation technology development and deployment. 
 

Previously, I spent a year leading Membership Engagement and Development for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), working primarily on recruitment, retention, and online and in-person community building with hospital and hospice fundraisers in the United States and Canada.
 

Prior to AHP, I was the Director of Communications for the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC). At ATSC, I was responsible for member communications and outreach, educational seminar programming, annual meeting and trade show direction, technical demonstrations, sponsorship coordination, social media strategy, and other promotional activities in the digital television industry. From 2008 to 2009, I represented ATSC in the U.S. DTV Transition Coalition.
